My name is Melodee Claassen and I am a Christian consultant for the entrepreneurs and leadership of small Christian businesses. Having a soft spot for small businesses, I consult with business owners and those in leadership in order to assist them in creating and maintaining a cohesive foundation that will strengthen all aspects of their businesses.
As a professional consultant, I have worked with many entrepreneurs, founders, and CEOs, as well as a myriad of solopreneurs and others in leadership positions. The businesses I have assisted would be considered small (approximately 100 employees or less) or solopreneurs and have varied greatly in their clientele and service offerings, levels of efficiency, numbers of employees, leadership education and knowledge, and systems and processes placement.
My skill set is such that I am equipped to also coach these stakeholders so they may fully show up for their businesses and teams. It is important that all levels of leadership achieve an optimal work/life balance so they can arrive to work mentally and physically ready and able to guide their businesses and teams forward to accomplish strategic goals.
I am a firm believer in joining my clients and their businesses on their journeys to success. I accomplish this with an holistic approach which creates an appropriate work/life balance for my clients and functions to create strategic planning/goals, financial stability, and effective processes to ensure an informed and focused roadmap to success.
Yes, I took courses at a Christian coaching school and, as a result, I hold the following certifications:
Certified Christian Life Coach (CCLC)
Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC)
Coaching is an unregulated field. This means that it was not necessary for me to obtain training. I could just as easily have registered my business and hung out my shingle without becoming a "certified" coach. However, I felt compelled to attend an accredited school, do the work, and incur the financial expense so you would have the benefit of the best I could offer.
When I am not working, I love to spend time with my crazy canine, Haris (pron. HA-ris). We love to walk, hike, and play games. Haris is a male, blue merle Scottish Collie, think Lassie.
I have always loved to learn new things and concepts so I am constantly researching different subjects and watching videos, mostly business-related. Much of my reading is also centered around business topics.
My hobbies include knitting, making jewelry, and diy projects around my home.
