  • Holistic Wellness for Businesses AND Their Owners

When a business owner needs help, he or she needs . . . well, help!  However, if you are calling me, this usually means that you AND your business need a helping hand.  As we begin to work together, I will work with both you and your business because your business is an extension of who you are.  This is what I call "Holistic Consulting and Coaching".

  • Your Business Will Be Your Mirror

In contrast to some common practices, I believe it is best to take an holistic approach to working with businesses and their owners.  Just as some doctors take an holistic view of treating their patients, I believe that both the owner and the business are benefited by this method of consulting AND coaching.  The reason for this is that I feel the small business owner and his or her business are tied to each other.  In other words, it is difficult to separate one from the other.

When you start a business, it is like having a baby.  It takes up the majority of your time and even, at times, keeps you up at night.  There are times when things are going well and other times when things are not going well. These "times" can be anything from baby's first steps to the dreaded terrible twos.  What you do at this point in your baby's life will follow baby into maturity.

Likewise, your business will experience ups and downs in its cycle of growth.  Just like that baby, your actions, reactions, and strategy plan will help to determine the outcome of your business's baby steps, adolescence, teenage years, and adulthood.

It is not surprising that an owner's emotions are often mirrored with the business's state of wellness.  If the business is doing well, the owner will be less stressed and happier.  If the business is not doing well, the owner will likely be worried, short-tempered, and less focused.  Likewise, businesses usually do better when their owners are rested and laser focused on business goals and implementation.  (You should know that if we work together, I require all of my clients to schedule a minimum of two vacations each year in order to decompress and refresh their business perspectives.)

It is for these reasons that I feel an holistic approach is best and this is the approach that I work from.
